UNDRR’s recognition of international organizations capable of validating and publishing emergency-event information using CAP underscores the protocol’s global significance in enhancing disaster risk reduction efforts. These recognized organizations play a crucial role in leveraging CAP to deliver timely and accurate information, empowering communities to take proactive measures to mitigate risks and respond effectively to emergencies

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) plays a crucial role in promoting a global culture of disaster risk reduction. It operates under the United Nations umbrella and works towards enhancing the resilience of communities and nations to disasters. UNDRR supports the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, a global agreement adopted in 2015 that outlines priorities and actions to reduce disaster risk.
